District Enrollment Makes Another Jump

Enrollment
A district graph shows the dramatic increase in enrollment since 2019.

Lucerne Valley Unified saw an 8 percent jump in enrollment from the same time last year.

At the end of September the district was up to 1,109 students. Last year at this time the LVUSD was at 1,037. Recently it grew to 1,122 students after another 14 students enrolled. Fours years ago, in 2019, district enrollment was below 850 students, but that was a noticeable increase from a few years earlier when enrollment dipped below 700.

A number of factors are responsible for the growth, but district administrators cite a continued increase in academic and CTE programs, more athletic opportunities and positive student feedback as some reasons.
